Fundraiser for Froggy’s Closet!

Thursday August 6th, 2020 ~ 6PM

Tami Woerl of “ She Paintsalot” will be guiding us in painting our own wine glasses. Join us in spreading out your picnic blanket under the trees. (Please practice safe distancing.) Bring your own snack and drinks to imbibe while you work on hand painting two wine glasses that you will take home to add to your collection. Stemless glasses will be provided for some of the younger artists. All art supplies will be provided as well as 2 glasses per person. $40.00 per person, payment in advance, limited tickets. Call (540) 773-4192 to reserve your space and make payment arrangements.

This event benefits Froggy’s Closet, a program created to offer clothing and essential items to foster children who may enter care with only the clothes on their backs. If you would like to support this program but cannot attend the event by the Lake you can find more information by going to their website using the link below.

Tai Chi Gong at Willow Grove Springs Retreat Happening Now!

These lakeside outdoor Tai Chi classes will reoccur every:

~ Monday @ 9:30 am
~ Wednesday @ 6:30 pm

Together, we will find the healing benefits of tai chi while we experience grounding, chi flow, gentle movement, and chi kung breathing.

Once an understanding of the principles and fundamentals of tai chi are felt, we will explore tai chi as a moving meditation as we learn to flow through the Yang 37 Posture Form.

Shade for classes graciously provided by the trees, with an option of being underneath a large tent in case of rain. Please bring extra water and bug spray if desired. Masks may be worn if desired, and physical distancing steps are in place.

Classes are $10 requested exchange; class passes available upon request.

Reach out to Adrian VanKeuren at or with any questions, or to preregister for classes.

Winchester, Virginia

Sundown is a full day collaboration of eclectic artists, crafters and pioneering independent music in the Northern Shenandoah Valley, not far from Washington DC.

A total of 26 local and regional bands and solo performers will be featured in three performance areas, spanning genres from tender folk to loud indie rock. Eclectic arts, handmade goods and vintage items will be part of this all day fest as will food carts/trucks and good ole craft and domestic beer.

Festival location held rain or shine at Willow Grove Venue, a historic farm and homestead on the borders of Winchester, Virginia on Saturday, June 28th from 11am to 11pm.
